What economic segment of society does the Audubon Bird watching club belong to?
Isn’t this sport group just a ruse to keeps wives occupied while husbands commandeer the golf courses?

I think it’s categorized as a night club. I asked my wife how come she’s going bird watching at night and she replied “It’s the best time to see a cockatoo”. I understand that bird sightings cannot be dictated by time constraints but why does she always come home drunk and without her panties?
Actually, I am a single middle-aged female. My income in below the median for my area while my educational level is much higher.
I have a science background and have had a strong interest in natural history, ecology, and other life sciences since I was about 6 years old.
My main interest is not birds but native flora. I belong to the New England Wildflower Society and take part in eradicating invasive plant species. I am also a gardener and garden designer and specialize in helping clients get their yards ready to be eligible for Audubon’s Backyard Habitat certificate.
I do belong to the Audubon Society however and go birding often as part of my usual field trips. I seldom take part in Audubon group activities but I hate to disillusion you - it is mostly men, not the upper middle class women you are imagining.
To be more succinct, I believe the average income level of an Audubon member is fairly high for the reason that most of its members are highly educated. There is a strong correlation between education and income.
As for your insinuation that “bird watching” is something rich people do because they have too much time on their hands, you are totally off.
